Benjamin Foundation chosen as our Norwich office charity for the year
The charity was started in Norfolk in 1994 and exists to help children and adults of all ages deal with many of the challenges that life throws at them. Each year The Benjamin Foundation helps around 2,000 people by providing them with hope, opportunity, stability and independence. Everything it does is driven by the needs of people in our community. Our fundraising focus will be on homeless young adults between 16-24.
Our Norwich office charity committee has raised over £80,000 over the last ten years and has spent the last year raising money for the Priscilla Bacon Lodge Support Group.
Marketing and Fundraising Manager Chris Elliott said “Mills & Reeve has a great track record of supporting local charities. We’re delighted to have this opportunity to work with them to build awareness of our work and put their fundraising to good use with children, young people and families we support.”
Jodie Hosmer, Head of the Norwich Office Charity Committee said: “We are delighted to be working with the Benjamin Foundation for the forthcoming year. The Partners and staff were touched by the charity’s commitment to helping young people without judgement or blame and importantly supporting them until both the individual and charity are happy that support is no longer required. We have lots planned and are looking forward to an exciting calendar of events.
