What can I do for you

Dan is a corporate lawyer advising both private and public companies on all aspects of corporate law including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, management buy outs and joint ventures.

Dan's practice is principally health and social care. Having spent four years in the early part of his career as an in-house lawyer for Craegmoor Healthcare and the Priory Group and then subsequently doing 12 years working as a private practice lawyer, solely focussed on healthcare M&A and associated regulatory issues, Dan can claim to have acted for or against the vast majority of providers and investors in the sector, in his time. He is very well connected in the health and social care spaces as a result.

What do others say

In recent independent client service reviews, clients have said:

"Daniel was the lead on this. We were dealing with quite a challenging set of lawyers at the party who was purchasing our business, and I think that Daniel dealt with those lawyers, and some of their shortcomings, with patience, diplomacy and aplomb. He worked very hard to meet our needs in a difficult situation.”

“Who impressed you? Yes, Dan was very good. He was extremely responsive and easy to work with.”

“I was very impressed with Daniel and the team working for him, and their energy. He was very clear all the way through the process.”

Supporting your ambitions

Recent ways in which Dan has helped clients include:

* acting for a serial acquirer on acquisitions of childrens services and education businesses;
* acting for a serial acquirer of adult specialist care services on the various acquisitions;
* acting for the sellers on the sale of a dermatology business;
* acting for the sellers on the sale of a large national complex care provider from private equity backing to trade;
* acting for a Japan head quartered life sciences business on: (i) an acquisition of a pioneering business developing AI software to work with endoscopes; and (ii) a disposal of a non-core parts manufacturing business;
* acting for a growth capital investor and management on the sale of a live-in care business to a trade buyer;
* producing vendor care regulatory due diligence reporting for several major sale processes in the healthcare space; and
* advising several supported living providers on day to day operational matters including the negotiation of service level agreements with third party landlords / registered providers of social housing.

What else should you know?

Dan has recently become a proud dad to a little baby girl and it is slowly dawning on him that his golf clubs are going to be gathering dust from now on!
