What can I do for you

Simon is an experienced commercial contracts lawyer specialising in large-scale equipment (including IT), infrastructure and facilities procurement, maintenance and/or service contracts and other general service outsourcing contracts (including business processes and corporate services). His work spans a wide range of industries and sectors including defence, health, education, waste, energy, leisure and detention.

Simon is also our Head of Government Sector Service Delivery. Through this role (and drawing on his twenty-plus years' experience of Government contracting), Simon is responsible for developing, implementing and managing our client service delivery strategy across key Central Government accounts, including UK MOD, DWP, DHSC and DfE.

A recent example is Simon’s work with UK MOD on Project MORPHEUS (a £3.6 billion programme for next generation battlefield communications). Simon worked with MOD colleagues to structure, define and document (through a web of inter-dependent contracts) this pathfinder project to achieve MOD’s objective to become “quasi prime contractor” (taking control of the procurement, integration, support and ongoing evolution of a communications system comprised of leading edge components and applications from suppliers across the defence and communications industries).
