Our experience

  • Acting for Jaguar Land Rover in its High Court claim against Bombardier for infringement of its Defender trade mark.

  • Defending an advertising agency alleged to have infringed copyright in a photograph created by an internationally renowned photographer in a campaign for a household name perfume brand.

  • Advising on a dispute over the ownership of software. Our client, the designer, successfully asserted their right of ownership in a copyright dispute which ended in the Court of Appeal.

  • Acting for an engineering business in a claim in the High Court Shorter Trial Scheme that a competitor’s cable protection system for offshore wind farms infringed its UK patent.

  • Acting for a small biotech business in a negligence claim against its patent attorneys. This was in relation to a failure to pay renewal fees on a Japanese patent. We negotiated a strong settlement.
